Sagaponack
Sagaponack
A modern barn compound that rose out of a once vacant lot, situated amongst a meadow and collections of mature trees, as if it had always been in Sagaponack. The program called for an organically maintained landscape, with a wildflower abundant show meadow to the south, and a more wild matrix of tall grasses to mix in with the carefully sourced and placed trees. As the landscape has matured, Summerhill has been tasked with cultivating the many native species that have self sown into the original planting, while honoring the original design aesthetic that called for intense bursts of color in the Summer.
